Light, shaped into motion.

Kiln-fired. Sun-activated.

Prism Cascade II
$222.00

A suspended composition of light and movement. This one-of-a-kind dichroic glass mobile transforms direct sunlight into shifting color and layered reflection. As light passes through each element, it creates a dynamic interplay of tones—each piece catching and refracting light differently to produce a constantly evolving display.

Multiple suspended glass forms move subtly with air and changing light, creating a slow, continuous shift in composition throughout the day. The result is both structured and fluid—like a study in balance and motion.

A minimal brass and copper framework holds the piece together, with fine chain allowing each element to hang independently and respond to its environment.

Hang in a sunny window, studio, or open space and let it change with the light.

Each piece is handmade and unique; while future versions will follow a similar composition, no two will ever be exactly the same.

A suspended composition of shifting color and soft movement.

Prism Chandelier II
from $624.00

A suspended rainbow chandelier of light and reflection.

This handcrafted dichroic glass piece transforms direct sunlight into shifting color and layered prisms. As light passes through each element, it casts vivid reflections that move across surrounding surfaces, changing throughout the day.

A central faceted crystal intensifies the effect, scattering light into a second field of movement and depth while the vertical cascade allows light to pass through multiple layers at once—producing both bold color and subtle tonal blends.

Dichroic glass, originally developed for optical applications, shifts with light and angle rather than holding a fixed color and will not fade over time.

Each element is hand-cut, finished, and assembled into a balanced composition. Every piece is handmade and unique; while future versions follow a similar structure, no two are identical.

Ready to hang. Includes ceiling hook and chain. Custom chain length available upon request; otherwise, ships with an 18” chain.

3 3/8” × 8” — sculptural
6” × 10” — focal
8” × 12” — statement

Suspended from an antique brass chandelier ring with brass hardware and crystal prism.

Ready to hang. Customizable chain length available upon request; otherwise ships with a standard 18” drop.

A layered light sculpture casting vivid, fractured reflections.

Beginner Suncatcher Kit + Class

Limit 2 per order

The founding launch is sold out. The next release will open after I complete my current installation project. Join the waitlist below to be notified first.

Create your own dichroic glass suncatcher from home with this beginner-friendly kit and step-by-step video class from Cosmic Outlaw Studio.

Designed for complete beginners, this founding launch includes a hand-selected 4" kiln-fired dichroic glass focal piece, brass chain and hardware, crystal prism components, hanging materials, and full video instruction walking you through the entire assembly process from start to finish. No glass cutting required. The project can be completed using only scissors and your hands, though pliers are recommended for easier assembly.

Each kit is assembled in small batches using genuine kiln-fired dichroic glass — a light-reactive material originally developed for aerospace optics that shifts color dramatically in changing light.

Whether you’re drawn to the optical effects, the calming process of making, or simply want a beautiful piece for your space, this class was created to make the experience approachable while still feeling elevated and artist-driven.

Each focal piece begins as a 4" kiln-fired glass square and is suspended in a diamond orientation for a more elongated final composition.

GLASS COLOR OPTIONS

Each kit includes one kiln-fired dichroic borosilicate glass focal piece. Due to the handmade nature of dichroic glass and the firing process, every piece will vary slightly in pattern, reflectivity, and color shift.

AVAILABLE COLORWAYS:
• Blue / Gold
• Pink / Teal
• Blue / Red

VARIANTS:

Artist’s Choice — $126
A hand-selected glass color chosen by the studio. This option allows for a more streamlined production process and faster fulfillment while still ensuring each piece is visually balanced and unique.

Choose Your Glass Color — $148
Select your preferred dichroic glass colorway from the available options above. This upgrade requires additional inventory sorting, color matching, and small-batch organization during the fabrication and packing process.

Please note that dichroic glass shifts dramatically depending on lighting conditions, angle, and background color. Many pieces display multiple colors simultaneously and may appear different throughout the day as the light changes.

A single statement transforming direct sunlight into spectrum.

Kiln-fired Dichroic Glass

Engineered for light.

Each piece is made from dichroic glass—an optical material that interacts with light rather than simply displaying color.

When sunlight passes through it, the glass reflects and transmits different wavelengths at once, creating shifting color, layered reflections, and movement across your space.

The effect changes throughout the day depending on light, angle, and environment.

I’m Jordan Sheridan, an installation artist working with light, material, and movement.

My work began at a larger scale—building immersive environments that shift and change with the viewer. These pieces bring that same idea into a more intimate form.

I work with dichroic glass because it allows light itself to become the medium—constantly changing depending on time, angle, and environment.

Each piece is made by hand in my studio.

A woman with curly hair and tattoos on her arm is holding a reflective, iridescent panel in front of her face. The panel covers half of her face, revealing one eye and part of her forehead, and the reflection shows a room with large windows and greenery outside.

Built for light.
Designed for space.

Each piece responds to its environment—shifting with light, time of day, and placement.

No two experiences are the same.
